The Jason Lane Band is an award-winning Vancouver rock band known for high-energy live performances, classic rock favourites, party hits, and original music. Fronted by vocalist Chantal Amott, the band delivers a dynamic mix of rock from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and beyond, with a setlist designed to keep audiences engaged and on the dance floor.
At the heart of the band are siblings Jason Lane on guitar and Chantal Amott on lead vocals, joined by Robbie Cooper on percussion and Mark Vescovi on bass. Together, they bring a polished, energetic sound to festivals, pubs, theatres, corporate events and private functions throughout British Columbia.
The band’s live repertoire features songs from artists including Heart, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Alannah Myles, Tina Turner, Tracy Chapman, Bryan Adams, The Black Crowes and many more. Their performances combine familiar rock favourites with carefully selected original songs, creating a show that appeals to longtime rock fans and audiences discovering the band for the first time.
The Jason Lane Band has also established itself as an original recording artist, releasing four EPs of original music and earning radio airplay across Canada. Their recordings reflect the band’s evolution as songwriters and musicians, while their newest material pushes further into the bigger, harder-edged rock sound that has become a defining part of their current live performances.
In 2023, the band won the BC Blues Challenge and was named Band of the Year at the Fraser Valley Music Awards. Since then, they have continued to build their reputation on stages throughout British Columbia, performing at festivals, community events, pubs and venues across the region.
For smaller and more intimate venues, Jason and Chantal also perform as the Jason Lane Acoustic Duo, bringing the band’s rock repertoire to life in a stripped-down acoustic format.
